Dear Ana,
Thank you for supporting our campaign to end cruel bullfights by signing our online petition to the Spanish prime minister, His Excellency José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.

Over the past few weeks, visitors to our Web site have sent over 8,000 e-mails to His Excellency José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and the Spanish government about the horrors faced every year by tens of thousands of bulls in the bullfighting arena.

This is really great work!

PETA Europe´s campaign against the use of animals in bullfighting and other so-called forms of "entertainment" is all about saving countless animals around the world from lives of pain and torment. We work to save animals who are trapped in zoos and circuses and forced to spend their entire lives confined to tiny cages or performing before members of the public. We work to save animals who are snatched from their mothers as babies and forced to perform in advertisements and films. We work to save animals who are forced to fight for their lives while jeering spectators watch for "fun". These animals are all treated like disposable toys.

We want to make the whole world aware of the fact that animals are sentient beings who " just like people" have the right to live their lives free from pain, abuse, torment and fear.

Together, PETA Europe, our international affiliates and our supporters work tirelessly to bring attention to the suffering of animals who are used for entertainment, but animals still desperately need our help in many other ways.

The following are just a few examples of more ways you can help:
Learn more about the horrors of bullfighting and our annual protest in Pamplona. Please urge everyone you know to sign our online petition.
Boycott any event that causes pain and suffering to animals. The organisers of such events depend on paying members of the public for their livelihoods. A boycott will put them out of business and make them realise that they can earn their living in a more compassionate way.
Take a look at all the great work we do here at PETA Europe to help animals near you – and around the world – and learn more about the variety of ways you can continue to support us.
Join our Activist Network so that we can contact you about opportunities to take direct action to help save animals.
Together, we really can make a difference.

Thank you so much for everything that you do to help. For all animals,

Poorva Joshipura

Director

Suelen ir quedando solitarios/as.
